Grapplechase Experimental
A downloadable game for Windows
Experimental Build Differences:
- Hold Shift while grappling and it will automatically release while travelling upwards (think 9 o'clock on a watch)
- Air Drag has been removed.
- Air Dash has been removed.
Gameplay
Shoot 50 targets as fast as possible. The timer starts when you shoot the first target. Your character's power (e.g. Railgun charge speed) scales with each target you shoot.
- Orange targets = No bonus
- Pink targets = Bonus Max Grapple Distance
- Green targets = Bonus Railgun Charge Speed
Difficulty
Choose a difficulty by shooting the colored orbs at the spawn location.
Controls
- W,A,S,D --- Movement
- Space --- Jump (hold to jump higher)
- Left-click --- Hold to charge railgun, release at 100 charge to fire
- Right-click --- Hold to grapple, release to let go
- Mouse 4 --- Dash
- Shift --- Slide
Controls while Grappled
- W --- Retract grapple
- S ---- Extend Grapple
- AD --- Move left and right
- Space --- "Pump" (like on a swing) to go faster
- F --- "Yank" yourself toward the grappled object
MISC Controls
- R --- Reset game. (Only works after shooting at least 1 target).
- Escape --- Exit game.
